Dreamcatcher...

In Ojibwa (Chippewa) culture, a dreamcatcher (or dream catcher; Ojibwe asabikeshiinh, the inanimate form of the word for "spider" or bawaajige nagwaagan meaning "dream snare") is a handmade object based on a willow hoop, on which is woven a loose net or web. The dreamcatcher is then decorated with personal and sacred items such as feathers and beads.

The Ojibwa believe that a dreamcatcher changes a person's dreams. According to Terri J. Andrews, "Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through . . . Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day.

" Good dreams would pass through and slide down the feathers to the sleeper.

Another version from the same article was, "Good dreams pass through the center hole to the sleeping person. The bad dreams are trapped in the web, where they perish in the light of dawn."

Dan sebenarnya, dreamcatcher kat atas tu ada dalam bilik my senior, Uya. A present from her Japanese friend, bestnya! Bila tengok this thing, selalu teringat movie2 red indian. huhuh and I snapped the pic!

Kelmarin tak balik rumah and stayed at her place sebab ade banyak kerja nak buat kat lab, malas nak balik + exam kene study sikit. Walaupun agak menyusahkan UYa, hope not la kan tapi at least tak buat rutin sama, mmg best! borak2 & makan spaghetti yang best gila! And somehow, rasa released skit the burden& tension.

Serius sedap, dah la dah lama tak makan and teringin sgt makan spaghetti meat sauce. Tapi heran, asal diri sendiri buat tak sesedap ni. Rupe2nya dia ade secret recipe from her mom. owh ,ok no wonder. Smer spices dia bawak dari Malaysia, kata nya...WOW! Nak buat spaghetti pun kene ade spices :p

And one more thing that caught my eyes in Uya's room is her bookshelf and her book collections.

Wah, dia suka buku romance rupenye~ wiwit!
